Cantor Faryn Rudnick

Cantor Faryn Rudnick joined the clergy team at Main Line Reform Temple in 2018. Prior to joining the MLRT family, she served as Cantor at Temple Beth-El in Northbrook, IL. Cantor Rudnick was ordained from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion's Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music in 20213. She earned her Bachelor's in Music Education from Miami University (OH) and her MA in Music Education from Montclair State University. She taught music education in the Oakland Public School District (NJ) before pursuing Cantorial School in 2008. 

Throughout her career, Cantor Rudnick has striven to create Jewish communities of belonging for people with disabilities. In 2015, she was the recipient of Chicago Federation's annual Samuel Goldsmith Award for her work in the field of inclusion. She also received the ACC's President's Award for Volunteerism in 2023. She has proudly served as president and facilitator of her local Cantorial networks, sung on Philadelphia's Kimmel Center stage, and has happily volunteered for the ACC in several capacities. Cantor Rudnick is especially proud to be stepping onto the Executive Committee. 

Faryn shares her life with her husband, Jack, and their two children, Hannah and George, where there is no shortage of baked goods, runs and races, rock climbing adventures, and trips to Philadelphia's visiting Broadway shows.
