Answer the call for bold, collective action by attending the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism's Consultation on Conscience
As Cantors, we stand alongside our Rabbinic partners and lay leaders across the movement, using our platforms to speak with moral clarity and courage. We raise our collective voices against injustice and have the privilege to model what it means to live our values out loud. In doing so, we empower our congregants to find their own voices and to bring their Jewish values into the world with strength, purpose, and conviction.
With ongoing threats to democracy and to Reform Jewish values in the U.S., Canada, and Israel—and with antisemitism on the rise in our own nation and around the world—our voices and our leadership are more essential now than ever.
Please join me in answering the call for bold, collective action by attending the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism's Consultation on Conscience.
The Consultation will take place December 12-15, 2025 in the Washington, DC area. It will be centered around four days of community building, learning, leadership development, and action, rooted in our Jewish values. This is an opportunity to:
- Engage in impactful skill building and values-based advocacy
- Be in community and find inspiration, hope, and resilience through a justice-infused Shabbat experience
- Engage in dialogue with policy experts, thought leaders, elected officials, and fellow activists around urgent issues, including immigration justice, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ equality, democracy, and antisemitism
For more information and to register, visit RAC.org/Consultation. Early bird registration ends September 1. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. It would be a pleasure to speak with you about this important event.
Your presence at Consultation on Conscience would make a meaningful difference. We would love to see as many Cantors in attendance as possible.
Sincerely,
Cantor Jason Kaufman
