Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil and Workshop with Rabbi Ariel Tovlev

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is a day of mourning which takes place on November 20, 2023. Our Jewish communities can commemorate TDOR to show solidarity to the transgender community and honor the lives lost. Join Rabbi Ariel Tovlev (pronouns: he/him or they/them) in a TDOR vigil with prayers from Mishkan Ga’avah: Where Pride Dwells which were written especially for this day of mourning. After the vigil, Rabbi Tovlev will lead a workshop to aid participants in creating TDOR vigils or TDOR Shabbats in their own communities.
