Bend the Arc Program: Addressing Antisemitism from the Bima Training for Rabbis, Cantors, Leaders
Talking about antisemitism can be scary, confusing, and incredibly difficult for clergy, leaders in congregations and other Jewish communities. During the High Holiday season, when entire communities look to clergy and lay leaders for guidance and support, we want to support you with some new tools, language and analysis so that you can engage in this topic from a more powerful place.
Join us for a training by messaging expert Sharon Goldtzvik, for a training on how to speak powerfully from the bima this year and to help your congregation better understand antisemitism and how to end it. This training is hosted by Bend the Arc: Jewish Action, Detroit Jews for Justice, Jews United for Justice, Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action, and Jewish Community Alliance.
In this training, you’ll receive expert messaging guidance and support from the primary authors of the Dismantling Antisemitism Messaging Guide, have an opportunity to submit questions, get support around challenges you’re facing in your own community, and learn together with others across the country grappling with similar experiences.
RSVP to join us on Thursday, July 24th, from 12:00-1:00pm ET.
