2026 Cleveland Information

Get ready to turn up the volume—Cleveland Rocks: Amplifying Our Roles is about to bring ACC and GTM professionals together for a convention that embodies the electric spirit of the Midwest. We are so excited to invite you to join us in Cleveland, OH June 28-July 2, 2026. Here, every attendee is a rockstar: we’re talking front-row inspiration, backstage-pass learning, and a community that’s ready to cheer you on as you step into your role. This convention will draw on our communities’ collective abilities in new ways.

Programming for this year’s convention will hone in on our theme of amplifying our roles. Our intention is that each attendee will leave convention with tangible takeaways from each workshop, new music, and new pockets of inspiration to drive and enlighten the holy work we each do. There will also be plentiful opportunities for shirah lishmah, singing together with intention, to fill your spiritual cup and share more music with you.

We will have thoughtful, moving t’filah woven throughout our time together bookending our days of learning. Complimentary to our programming and t’filot, we will be going on a musical journey from our choral concert at the Maltz Performing Arts Center, to our Composer’s Workshop, to celebration of Shireinu II, to closing out our time together partying like rockstars at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Financial Assistance Information

Financial assistance is available to ACC and GTM members in good standing. Please click here to open the Google Form to submit your application.

Applications are due no later than February 16. All applications are held in the strictest confidence. Scholarship funds are distributed based on need and the amount of funding collected. The maximum amount of scholarship given is determined by the total amount collected.

Separate and additional assistance is available for retirees and members of the SEG community. For information and to apply for SEG/Retiree funds, email Rachel Roth at rroth@accantors.org

The maximum awards are not guaranteed and are only to be used as guide while filling out your application.

PRE-PAID REGISTRATION INFORMATION

If you have funds on deposit with the ACC, you may use those funds for this convention or any future convention. If you wish to use those funds, please contact the ACC office before registering so we can give you the proper amount and code to deduct your funds on account from your total. Banked funds can be used for registration fees for yourself, your spouse, or children or donations to the scholarship or underwriting funds. Banked funds can NOT be used for hotel deposits or payments.

Hotel Information and Travel Information

Hotel reservation information will be sent in your confirmation email. Each participant is responsible for making their own hotel reservation in our hotel block. Our standard room rate is $229/night plus applicable taxes. Rooms can be comfortably shared. Children age 17 or younger can stay in their parent's room at no charge. If you choose not to reserve a room in our block, and if you are not local to the Cleveland area or have an immediate family member in the area, you will be responsible to pay a fee of $269.

Scholarship, Underwriting Opportunities and Ad Journal for Convention

Underwriting Opportunities

There are a number of sponsorships and underwriting opportunities included in the convention registration. We invite you to add on a donation to underwrite a program or meal or make a donation to the scholarship fund to help other attend the convention.

Ad Journal Opportunities

This year, the Convention Ad Journal is going back to a paper booklet. We invite you to celebrate your ACC and GTM colleagues who are celebrating milestones, celebrate your area colleagues and classmates, and celebrate our honorees through the annual ad journal. A copy of the journal will be given to each attendee. PDFs will be available to share.

Convention Participation Opportunities

Convention participation offers a meaningful way to showcase the gifts and creativity of our ACC and GTM communities. Below is an overview of the opportunities available and the expectations for each area.

Eligibility

Leading worship and singing a concert solo are each considered distinct honors, and an individual may participate in only one of these roles at a given convention.
Early-bird registrants receive first consideration for all leadership roles.
Primary t’filah leaders and concert performers become ineligible to lead t’filah or sing a concert solo for the following three years, creating room for broad participation across our membership.

Opening Concert

Our opening concert celebrates the versatility of the Cantor and Temple Musician through ensemble pieces, instrumental works, and more.

Rehearsal requirement: Participants must commit to arriving on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for rehearsal.
Travel considerations:
- We understand that those traveling from the West Coast who have obligations on Saturday may not be able to arrive in time. If this applies to you, the concert chairs will work with you individually to explore participation options.
- Additional costs: Arriving on Saturday night requires an additional night of hotel accommodations.

Specialized Workshops

Certain specialized workshops, such as the TMP New Publication Workshop and the Composers’ Workshop, include roles that are determined through a separate selection process. These opportunities are coordinated by their respective committees and may prioritize participants based on the goals and needs of each workshop.

Composer's Workshop Submission Information

On behalf of the 2026 ACC-GTM Convention Committee and the 2026 Composer's Workshop Committee, I am delighted to announce a call for submissions to the Composer’s Workshop at the 2026 ACC-GTM Convention (June 28-July 2nd) in Cleveland, OH.
