ACC responds to President Trump calling for houses of worship to open

Despite the President's recommendation that our houses of worship open immediately, we stand by our belief that the reopening of synagogues should happen when data shows it is safe for everyone who attends.  Our overriding belief in pikuach nefesh will guide our decisions to return to in person worship.  Each community will make their own decisions but those decisions should be grounded in data and the need to protect it's members.  No clergy or community leader should feel pressured into a decision that does not meet those criteria.
