URJ Course on Congregational Governance
Is your leadership grappling with questions related to bylaws, the size of your board, leadership culture, or leadership development? Registration is open through March 25 for the URJ Congregational Governance Course, which will launch on April 1. This course is comprised of four modules, each roughly requiring a 60-minute time commitment, and is intended for those looking to learn about best principles of congregational governance. Taking this course is also a pre-requisite for applying for the URJ Congregational Governance Community of Practice (CoP), which will launch on August 12. The CoP will officially convene leaders for 10-12 months of intensive learning, networking, and experimentation, and is designed for those ready to make change in their congregations. Please consider signing up and encourage your board to register as well! To learn more, read this informational sheet, sign up for our informational webinar on March 13, 8pm ET, or contact Julie Lambert, RJE (JLambert@URJ.org).
