Congregation Placement Application Process

1. Before completing an application to enter our Placement process, please download and review the following documents:

• Overview of the Search Process (Full-Time and Limited Service Positions)
• Tips for Search Committees
• Sample Search Committee Member Job Description
• If pertinent, Introduction to the Cantor-in-Residence Program

2. Contact your Union Rabbi for assistance in completing the Application for Placement. Below is a list of Union Rabbis:

3. Download a copy of the Congregational Application for Cantorial Placement:      

Full-Time/Limited Service Positions      
High Holy Day Positions
Cantor-In-Residence Positions

4. Transmit an electronic copy of your completed application form in Microsoft Word (please do not PDF) to the Placement Office placement@accantors.org.

5. Mail a paper copy of your application form, with an original signature, to the Placement Office at:
